I had a craving for homemade pizza for a while. I had some great toppings handy so all I needed was the dough recipe. I actually used one out of an old Italian recipe book that my mom gave me however a series of very unfortunate events meant that I am not entirely sure how it would have turned out, so if it works out next time I will post the recipe.I made the dough, and prepared the pizza and what not, and about 5 minutes after I put it into the oven the power went out. So I left it in while the oven cooled thinking it would bake enough, but it didn't... so I kept it overnight to finish the process the next morning and that just totally failed. It over cooked and became a bit like a crispy biscuit pizza. Woops.
But try the topping combo:
bacon
feta
rocket
fresh tomato
And the sauce:
tomato puree
basil
oregano
tbs of sugar
*mix together in a pan on the stove and let it simmer for a while
